David Walker is a freelance composer, arranger, clinician, and adjudicator living in Waco, Texas. He writes music for high school and collegiate marching programs, including full show orchestration, as well as concert music for the stage. Before moving to Waco, he was a high school band and percussion director in Dallas/Fort Worth, where his ensembles consistently placed in the top three at NTCA championships and WGI regional competitions. He remains active in the NTCA, serving as a board member and percussion steering committee chair. David is currently the Ensemble Coordinator at Blue Knights Drum & Bugle Corps and the instructor for the Baylor University Drum Line. He holds degrees from Middle Tennessee State University and Texas Christian University. David enjoys running and spending time with his wife and son.
